Review: Move the Sun by Susan Fanetti

Lilli Accardo moves to the dying town of Signal Bend, Missouri, where the citizens have made a devil’s bargain to stay afloat. Lilli quickly garners the attention of the whole town, particularly Isaac Lunden, President of the Night Horde Motorcycle Club and de facto protector of the town and its citizens. When it turns out that Lilli is there under murky circumstances, Isaac decides to get close and try to figure out what she’s hiding. Their chemistry is instantaneous and electric, but each is a potential danger to the other. Action, sex, and drama ensue as Isaac and Lilli try to navigate the rocky terrain between trust and threat.

MY REVIEW

Move the Sun by Susan Fanetti
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 ultimate biker book STARS

Move the Sun was utterly perfect and I'm in awe. I know what you think...not another biker book, but I swear this one is different. Seriously!
The latest conquest on my biker-book-bender was a full on surprise, a success and downright amazeballs. You don't get those very often.

When I first read the blurb my head went all damsel in distress, on the run from the big evil and hell...I couldn't have been more wrong if I'd tried. It's not like the others and I'm so grateful that I finally gave it a try.

”L'amor che muove il sole e l'altre stelle.”

This is the story of Lilli and Isaac. She is the mysterious new girl, who right away catches the eyes of the local bad boy and leader of the Motorcycle Club.
You see, Signal Bend is in the middle of nowhere, people don't move in...they usually just run of there. So it isn't strange that the pretty dark haired lady, with a proclivity for too short running attire raises eyebrows and most definitely warrants a check-up ...really a full body search... by one very curious biker.

Simple enough, right? Ahhhh, but this one has a twist and I'm not going to tell you what it is, but it is highly entertaining and sexy and pretty original as far as biker book plots go.

”I don’t know any other woman like you—as strong as you, or as smart. You make me stronger. It’s when we’re not working together that we’re weaker. We make a good team. We fill each other out. We fit. I feel that. Do you?”

Lilli Accardo is an amazing character and heroin. She is cool, calculated, not much can shock her and she is as far from a naïve little girl as one could possibly get. But that's just window dressing; she has secrets, big secrets and I was biting my nails trying to figure it all out.

And of course while keeping all those secrets and playing all mysterious and such, a girl can always dabble in a little 'something' with a gorgeous man.

I especially liked how Ms. Fanetti neatly wove in some flashbacks to create a bigger picture for us to see what happened in Lilli's past and what ultimately lead her to this town. It's not a coincidence that she is here and you bet your ass that woman has an ulterior motive.

Also, the same day Lilli appears in Signal Bend trouble within the community and the clubs business dealings arises. Coincidence? Well, who knows? Curious? Most definitely.

”Well-worn black engineer boots. Dark straight-leg Levis. Black button-down shirt, folded back on his arms and open at the throat. Leather cuffs. Leather kutte. Black Ray-Bans. He looked like Mr. June in the Harley biker Beefcake calendar.”

Isaac Lunden is the president of Night Horde MC Club. For Signal Bend he is the law and order, without him and his club there wouldn't be a town left. Signal Bend is for all intents and purposes a dead town and the only things that keep the lights on are the illegal dealings of the Horde. He loves his town and his people and he will do just about anything to protect them.

Yup, he has a lot on his plate and when Lilli walks into his town he is highly suspicious and well...horny, really. Ever since their first meeting these two have some insane chemistry and they are very much in tune with each other, even though they can't explain why.

Suffice it to say that Lilli is Isaac’s match in every sense of the word. She is one tough cookie and these two strong willed characters don't do anything halfway. They even challenge each other in bed, bargaining for their pleasure and it's the most fun I've had reading in while.

”They'd literally fought their way to a fuck.”

Mmmmmh, Lilli and Isaac are a pretty fun couple. They don't do bullshit. They both know what they want and they take it. No questions asked...deal with truth and consequences later if you will.

But beside the obvious relationship storyline, Ms. F. created a very rich world with real characters and interesting history, a very complex world and a well thought out plot.

I'd recommend this book to anyone who likes a non-annoying kick-ass heroine, hotter than hell biker shenanigans, sweet romance and occasionally a rough ride. Pun most definitely intended!

Can't wait to read the next one!

**Thanks for the fabulous BR, Suzanne and Stephanie!! ;D
