That was delightful, in an insanely kinky with a plot on top kind of way.

Here is the thing. At the end of the year, as well as at the start of the year I need novella serials to finish off my reading goal and likewise get myself into gear for the new challenge ahead. I don't usually expect much, well maybe lots of skimming and even more sex, but I go there nevertheless. So, I keep them in mind and jump in when I'm ready.

Imagine my surprise when a sex filled novella series has an actual plot, amazing character development and stellar writing. I might be a teeny tiny bit prejudiced, but I honestly didn't see it coming. THIS WAS AMAZING! Period.

A little about the story...

Violet Harvell-Hale is a thirty-two year old housewife, stuck in a loveless marriage. Her husband cheats on her and it took her way too long to pull the plug and get out of her misery. When she finally finds the courage to change things she decides to experiment with her sexuality. And the first thing she stumbled upon is Mr. Thick Cock a.k.a Rhys Volz. The series is told in four different parts, or novellas. The Waltz, The Tango, The Last Dance and Curtains. And rather brilliantly tells their story of overcoming the past, learning to trust another person, finding love and having really insanely hot and kinky sex.

When I look back on all the parts, I would say book two, The Tango, was my favourite . Intense, the most boundary pushing and the most edgy one of the bunch. Without giving too much away, each instalment sets out to resolve a bigger problem in their relationship. Trust issues, secrets that have been kept, commitment problems and letting go of the past.

Angelica Chase and her sexy books have been recommended to me countless times and I'm so happy I finally made it. Right from the start I was hooked by the effortless writing style, great characters I was immediately invested in and just scorching hot chemistry that keeps you coming back for more.

For anyone looking for a fast and sexy read, with a real story underneath, this is what you are looking for. I'm most definitely convinced by the author's skills and will read a lot more where that came from.
