Title: It Ends with Us
Author: Colleen Hoover
Series: none
Genre: new adult, contemporary romance
Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.
Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.
As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

SANDY’S REVIEW
*6 Naked Truth stars*
After taking a much needed time to write a decent review, I’m coming up empty! It’s not that I’ve got nothing to say just that, it rendered me SPEECHLESS!
Seriously though,
How do you describe a book which is a MASTERPIECE?
How do you conjure up your thoughts when the story is playing in your mind over and over again? How do you talk about the protagonist who inspired you to be both strong and compassionate?
And lastly,
What do say about the author who brought these characters to life, whose words held you captive, who wrecked you emotionally delivering a story with a powerful message, who made you fall in love and broke your heart all at once?
Dear Colleen,
For a while I forgot to SWIM,
THANK YOU for Lily!
-Sandy
Sorry, if you've stopped by to know the story! For the life of me I can’t say anything about the book without spoiling it for you.
Colleen Hoover’s ‘It Ends With Us’ is more than just a love story, It’s a moving story about our protagonist, Lily. It’s about her excitement of finding new love and the warm memories of the first love. It’s also about her journey to self-discovery, growing up, forgiveness and taking control.
It was refreshing to read a character who is relatable in so many way, be it at the age of 15 or 23 she is every bit like you and me but what I loved the most is the complexity of her character, the layers keep adding up.
Lily’s constant struggle with her emotions, the maturity in which she tackles her problems, her relationships, her strength, her honesty, her growth - everything about her life is introspective. There are certain heart-breaking situation and hard decisions, which will change your perspective on life, there is no black and white! Along with Lily you will start questioning the true meaning of love-is it all about Sacrifice? Or Forgiveness? Or Happiness? Or even Safety?
Lily, you are my hero and
“I want to be you when I grow up.”
I know I won’t stop thinking about this book for a long time. If you ask me just go in blind or read the blurb or trust your friends who have already read it, but whatever you do GIVE THIS BOOK A CHANCE it’s worth every single word!
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go add this book to my all-time favourites list!
Until then…
