BOTM - June 2015

I have to apologize. I didn't write a book of the month post for April and May. It was mix of reading too little and being too lazy to write this post. I hope you can forgive me.

Now June on the other hand was a total winner - reading wise. I had a hard time settling on only one book and that's why I have two honorable mentions for you.

First Affairytale by C.J. English! A most wonderful read and a very special person who wrote it. I will keep this book in my heart for a long time.

And the second book is for Hearts of Fire (Hearts #2) by L.H. Cosway! I was a bit late to read the Hearts series, but it was well worth it in the end. A beautiful and magical experience.

But there can only be one winner. And my book of the month is:

 King (King #1)
by T.M. Frazier

About the Book

Homeless. Hungry. Desperate.

Doe has no memories of who she is or where she comes from. A notorious career criminal just released from prison, King is someone you don’t want to cross unless you’re prepared to pay him back in blood, sweat, pu$$y or a combination of all three.

King’s future hangs in the balance. Doe’s is written in her past. When they come crashing together, they will have to learn that sometimes in order to hold on, you have to first let go.

Warning: This book contains graphic violence, consensual and nonconsensual sex, drug use, abuse, and other taboo subjects and adult subject matter. Although originally slated to be a standalone, KING is now a two part series.

About T.M. Frazier

T.M. Frazier resides in sunny Southwest Florida with her husband and baby girl.

In the third grade she wrote her very first story about a lost hamster. It earned rave reviews from both her teacher and her parents although her spelling could have (and could still) use some help.

It only took her twenty years to start the next book.

The Dark Light of Day was her debut novel.

She LOVES talking books with her readers.
