ARC Review: Billionaire: Complete Book by Juliette Jones

Lila Carmichael is a good girl, a high-achieving academic, punctual to a fault, unfailingly conscientious – and embarrassingly inexperienced. After graduating from Princeton, Lila moves to New York City and begins her job search. Innocent and naïve, she is swept away by an uncharacteristic bloom of total abandon as soon as she meets the tall, dark-eyed CEO of Wolfe Enterprises. Under Alexander’s potent influence, Lila is thoroughly transformed from demure virgin to lusty goddess in just two days. Given her upbringing, it’s only natural that Lila would be attracted to such a pinnacle of stability, but as emotion and lust entwine, she begins to question the motives behind her covetous, hedonistic desires.

Alexander Wolfe needs a new assistant to help him run his publishing empire. One résumé in particular catches his eye and he decides to interview the candidate one-on-one in his private penthouse office. When a green-eyed goddess walks in, Alexander, for the first time in his life, finds himself powerless to resist. The difficulties of his past ensure that his protective instincts are fiercely attuned, and Lila’s vulnerabilities, combined with her nubile body and voracious new appetites, only succeed in ensnaring Alexander past the point of no return.
Set in New York and Paris, Lila and Alexander’s connection is a whirlwind of lust, love, jealousy and obsession. Will they find their happy ever after?

I'm really sorry to say this because I got the ARC from the author and we had a nice little chat about the possibility of me hating it and ripping the book a new one...

Well, I'm sorry to say the worst case scenario has arrived and I can't even tell you how wrong this all was. I'm not even sure how I made it this far. In my defense I tried for the author, but I can't waste my time any longer.

If you want to know why it was so aweful just scroll down and read my status updates...I don't think I have anything more to add.

**ARC very kindly provided by the author in exchange for an honest review

Status Updates from GR!

2.0%"He is inhumanely strong. He could so easily overpower me. And you can tell that by looking at his arms? Oh dear...this is going to be a problematic read, right? Also, who goes to a job interview sans bra and panties...O.o girl your Princeton degree should be taken from you immediately!"
3.0%"Champagne? Are you serious? This is supposed to be a freaking job interview."
3.0%"And she hasn't done any research on the company. FSoG anyone? If the author had not asked me to review this I would stop reading now...oh dear"
6.0%"What on earth is a pirate-cum-mogul? And can I lose brain cells if I keep on reading?"
6.0%"I was forbiddingly tight, ... WTF is that supposed to mean? And yes, I kid you not they started fucking after exchanging not more than three sentences...during a job interview. Is this like one of those crack fics and no one told me beforehand?"
8.0%"Birthcontrol 101 with Alexander: I'd meant to pull out at least. But I'd been so fucking overcome with lust that I'd spent myself inside her.
