ARC Review: The Anatomy of Jane by Amelia LeFay

Title: The Anatomy of Jane
Author: Amelia LeFay
Series: WJM #1
Genre: erotica, menage, contemporary romance
Jane

I’ve always been on my own. My life used to consist of nothing but work, keeping Allen out of trouble, and if I had time, sleep. Then I became their maid.

Max

Every day more than half a million people tune in to watch my show. They trust me. I know it’s because I’m the only son of the prominent Emerson family. However, I like to believe it because I’m honest no matter what story I report on. I’m honest about everything but the man I’ve been f**king for the last four years… and now her.

Wesley

First I want three things: First Maxwell Emerson and Jane Chapman both in my bed. Second, to be the best bloody chef in the country. Third, to figure out how to simultaneously get the first and second things I want without any of us getting hurt.

THREE PEOPLE.

ONE LOVE STORY….

FLO'S REVIEW

The Anatomy of Jane by Amelia LeFay
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 **Screw resting and fuck me.** STARS

“I wasn’t a good girl
I wasn’t a bad girl.
I was their girl.”

Well, the level of hotness was off the charts.

Anatomy of Jane is the first time JJ McAvoy writes under the pen-name Amelia LeFay to separate genres. It is the first part in a MMF contemporary romance duet. It’s not a triangle, but a menage. She brings the usual effortless storytelling and paired it with some seriously scorching characters. A fast moving, thought out and very sexy read.

Max and Wesley have been in a relationship for four years. For various reasons they have to keep their relationship status and the fact that especially Max is gay under wraps. One day their new maid Jane catches them going at it in the foyer. There is a lot of instant attraction going on, and it becomes clear pretty fast that both Max and Wes are bi. There are a lot of issues to overcome; family, public opinion and some past drama.

Really a fun and quick read. I would recommend it to all the McAvoy fans out there and for those who haven’t read her books yet, this might be a fast way to see if she suits you.

Now I’m just desperately waiting for the second and final part in the series. There was a bit of a cliffhanger. Just FYI.
