Rosie
They say that life is a beautiful lie and death a painful truth. They're right.
No one has ever made me feel more alive than the guy who serves as a constant reminder that my clock is ticking.
He is my forbidden, shiny apple.
The striking fallacy to my blunt, raw, truth.
He is also my sister's ex-boyfriend.
One thing you should know before you judge me;
I saw him first. I craved him first. I loved him first.
Eleven years later, he waltzed into my life, demanding a second chance.
Dean Cole wants to be my bronze horseman. My white knight has finally arrived. Hopefully, he isn’t too late.
Dean
They say the brightest stars burn out the fastest. They’re right.
She sets my mind on fire.
All smart mouth, snarky attitude and a huge heart.
In a world where everything is dull, she shines like fucking Sirius.
Eleven years ago, fate tore us apart.
This time, I fucking dare it to try.
Getting to her is a battlefield, but man, that’s why they call me Ruckus.
Rosie LeBlanc is about to find out how hard I can fight.
And conquering her will be the sweetest victory.

SANDY’S REVIEW
What makes you feel alive?
Ruckus is second addition to the Sinners of Saint series and this time we venture into Dean and Rosie’s life. If you think you know everything about these two characters, you are in for a BIG surprise. Dean is not just a frenemy to Vicious, nor Rosie a sick little sister to Millie, these characters are brought to life on such complex level that you can’t help but root for them, love them or even hate them but for sure they will grow on you.
I was little unsure about reading their story. I mean, Dean dated Rosie’s older sister and Rosie on other hand was battling a life threating disease and one would wonder how can you make their story work. After having read this, I just want to go back in time and berate me for ever doubting L.J.’s crazy writing skills. This woman can make ANYTHING WORK!
They say when two people are meant to be together, no forces on the earth can stop them from ending up together. That’s what life had planned for these two soulmates. Rosie and Dean were always destined to be together, but life played a cruel joke on her. Of all the guys she could easily have, she had to fall for that one HotHole, whose was forbidden in every way possible. Rosie owed everything to her sister, she didn’t want to do anything to hurt her even if it meant burying her feelings deep within.“I saw him first. I craved him first. I loved him first.”
Now eleven years later when they crossed paths, Dean is desperate to rewrite their story and this time he is going to choose the right sister, but will Rosie ever trust her heart with a manwhore like Dean again?
What I loved the most in this book was the depth of the characters. Dean being a HotHole was always portrayed as a fun-loving, partying playboy but as the story advances, we get to see the real Dean. The Dean who is dealing with a lot of issues, who buries his despair in alcohol and weed, the Dean who is still a little boy waiting to be loved. Their constant struggle with reality and yet them finding their way back to each other was such a delightful experience. This author knows how to create A-hole heroes who make you go weak at the knees *wink.
This book is definitely meant to be one-clicked.
