Mona Lisa St. James made a deathbed promise that she would do anything to save her mother's art gallery. Unfortunately, not only is The Red painted red, but it's in the red.
Just as she realizes she has no choice but to sell it, a mysterious man comes in after closing time and makes her an offer: He will save The Red if she agrees to submit to him for the period of one year.
The man is handsome, English, and terribly tempting...but surely her mother didn't mean for Mona to sell herself to a stranger. Then again, she did promise to do anything to save The Red...
The Red is a standalone novel of erotic fantasy from Tiffany Reisz, international bestselling author of The Bourbon Thief and the Original Sinners series.

SANDY’S REVIEW
*4 stars*
The Red is all things EROTIC, I didn’t know if any book could leave you HOT and BOTHERED (to an extent you constantly had to take a break to avoid having book-orgasm) like this one. That being said if you have read her previous books you must be aware of Tiffany Reisz’s phenomenal story telling ability. And with The Red, Ms. Reisz has taken this story to a whole new level.
Mona Lisa St. James is an owner of an art gallery ‘Red’ which is on the verge of shutting down. This gallery is the only thing that mattered to it, her mother’s dying wish, to save Red at any cost. And this help came in the form of a mysterious, wealthy Englishman ready to help Mona save this gallery but in return, she has to submit to him whenever he wants.
Not something new to most of us romance readers but with Ms. Reisz’s books you can always expect to be blown away by her unconventional love story and those surprizing turn of events. This book isn’t all about sex (who am I kidding, 95% of the book is about it) but beyond that, the suspense, vivid settings, the characters, authenticity of her topic and the story development are just fascinating. Ms. Reisz is known for portraying strong female leads, Mona initially came across as shy and timid young women desperate to save her mother’s legacy. As the story progressed her character bloomed under Malcolm’s touch, she grew in every act, it’s like you are living her life and at times I wanted to switch places with her *winks*
What was supposed to be an agreement between the two turned out to be a life altering experience for Mona. This path of self-discovery Mona had throughout this sexual encounter was beautiful and heart-warming. Her passion and strength reminded me so much of Nora (Ms. Reisz’s master piece of all time), Nora once said-being called ‘slut’ and ‘whore’ is the highest compliment in her world and the way Mona embraced it was so delightful to read.
Leave it to Ms. Reisz to write something so provocative in such a subtle and elegant way that pushes your boundary and opens up your mind to any possibility. And I love her for that, no matter how many romance novels I read, her books always stand out to me, they bring a new meaning to love and intimacy.
Dear Ms. Reisz,
If you are reading this, I have one request, can we get more of
This book isn’t for everyone, it has a strong sexual content and certain encounters are cringe worthy but if you are like me, loves everything dirty, filthy and erotic you will love it. Ms. Reisz’s style of writing is an acquired taste, her stories will definitely ruin other erotic books for life!
My favorite line from the book:
“His money made her a whore, but his cock had made her his slave.”
