FLO'S REVIEW

Into the Blue by Chanel Cleeton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 **second chance** STARS

What can I say? I adore this series. Chanel Cleeton is a relatively new author to me, but after loving Fly With Me and now getting to enjoy this second book in the Wild Aces series she is making her way on my must-read-author list. Ms.Cleeton has a way of spinning compelling, swoon-worthy and super hot love stories. Just the kind of thing this girl likes to read every once in awhile.

Into the Blue is the second book in the Wild Aces series, a second chance military themed romance about a squadron of F-16 fighter pilots.

Becca and Eric 'Thor' were highschool sweethearts, together for five years - even engaged, until ten years ago when Eric pulled the plug and left Becca. Back then their career choices didn't really work together and in the end love wasn't enough. Eric joined the Air Force to become a fighter pilot and Becca went to college and got a law degree.

Now, ten years later a chance encounter rekindles old feelings and both are at a point in their lives where they might be in a position to compromise, and maybe Becca is willing to give Eric a second chance.

I absolutely love the world created here. The characters are very real, their problems both in and out of the cockpit speak to me. I enjoy the balance between sweet romance and angst. If you like military romance with a lot of emotions this is definitely a series to look into. Especially the next book about Easy has a lot of promise and I for one can't wait for 2017. Why do we have to wait so long????? *insert ugly crying*

That's all. Thanks for your time.
